Founded in 2005, Zhongshan Carol Lighting Co., Ltd. is one of the earliest lighting production and processing enterprises in Guzhen Town, China's Lighting Capital. It has built itself into an OEM supplier of world-renowned lighting brands. Anton, a founder of the BENOVO Design Office (Denmark), co-founded this industrial design office in 2012 with his two partners. He decided on the name by combining the English word “best” and Latin root “nova”, the best nova means the best idea. They want to design products in the most soul-inspiring ways to incite others, evoking a understanding of a better life.

In the same year, Zhongshan Carol Lighting Co., Ltd. and BENOVO Design Office began cooperating,, and BENOVO Lighting Brand was officially established.
